Thank you for auditioning for the Wind Ensemble this weekend.
This was the most competitive year ever for auditions, and we
unfortunately are not able to offer you a spot in the ensemble at
this time.
We greatly hope you'll continue your interest in the CU Wind
Ensemble. Because our membership changes from year to year, don't hesitate to audition for us in the future.

Oh, I'm sorry you didn't get in. Don't be discouraged by it. It sounds like there were lots of applicants. You could have been just barely out of the running. Try again next time. And meanwhile, try for another group.
We all have our rejection letters and memories. I hope you're doing okay.
Hey ... I got a rejection letter on year for a San Francisco Symphony audition. Not, mind you, AFTER the audition. It was one saying "Thanks but no thanks".
The odd thing was ... I NEVER applied to audition.
Sigh.
So hang in there. Keep oboing. You'll get your orchestra position. It'll happen!
Try again even if you may feel discouraged. Every failure is a stepping stone towards gaining success.
